Objective
This project will rebuild runway 12/30 to address the secondary runway's infrastructure deficiencies.
Runway 12/30 has exceeded its lifespan with the last pavement rehabilitation completed in 2001.
Requirements
Remove 150 mm thickness (section of runway between primary runway 08/26 and taxi Bravo) and 100 mm thickness (from taxi Bravo to end of runway) of existing asphalt and repair underlying cracks full depth.
Place 150 mm and 100 mm of new asphalt respectively and apply new paint markings (to entire runway).
Replace all electrical edge and approach lighting (LED) to the runway.
Grooving of new asphalt and existing concrete pavements.
