Consolidate Fleet Diving Unit (Pacific)
Project Type
Project New/Replace
Objective
The aim of the FDU(P) Consolidation project is to replace the majority of the existing 43 FDU(P) terrestrial facilities and the entire marine infrastructure with three modern buildings and a new floating jetty. This will provide modern, dafe, functionally-suitable and sustainable facilities to support the current and future operations of FDU(P).
Requirements
The process mapping exercise conducted by the project Prime Consultant initially determined that the minimum military requirement is 7,240 m2 gross for inside space as reflected in this SOR(I). In consultation with the Prime Consultant and FDU(P), this gross area has been value-engineered to reduce cost and further refinements will occur during the detailed design stage of the project.
